The Pokédex (Japanese: ポケモン図鑑 illustrated Pokémon encyclopedia) was created by Professor Oak as an invaluable tool to a Trainer in the Pokémon world. It gives information about all Pokémon in the world that are contained in its database, although it differs in how it acquires and presents information over the different medias. However, they are also only given to a few Trainers at a time, generally to the ones that are felt to have exceptional potential and skill.

In Pokemobs it is used to control what your pokemob is doing:

  1. Follow - The pokemon will follow behind you
  2. Stay - The pokemon will stay in one spot
  3. Explore - The pokemon will wander around

Inside the pokedex GUI you can also view the stats of your pokemon, health, attack, and speed are all listed. The pokedex lets you apply points to these stats when your pokemon levels up. In version 0.3 it will become possible from the GUI to evolve your pokemon when it meets the requirementsr It is now possible to evolve your pokemon when they become a certain level. Your pokemon level up when they have defeated enough Hostile Enemies. Another thing that you get from leveling up your pokemon is things called Poké Points, which can be used to increase the stats of your pokemon.
